Yesterday I dreamt a dream that tomorrow had begun and like any other we awoke as one.
Yesterday I dreamt a dream that together we had no limitations and you exceeded all my expectations.
I dreamt a dream that from one body our souls would beam…when I smiled you smiled with me and when I laughed you held my hand.
Yesterday I dreamt a dream and you looked into my face, into my eyes…we were in an honest place.
And in this place, the moments we create, this unreal state. This defiance of fate, where there no room for hate; this is what makes this place so sweet.
I dreamt a dream where the music was your heartbeat…
Yesterday I dreamt a dream where there were no lights…a world heightened, a world without sight.
I dreamt a dream of liberation and aspiration
a dream of raw inspiration. I dreamt of what looked to be unquestionable reality; you and me.
I dreamt of today.
Yesterday I dreamt a dream, where I’d hoped you would dream of me.

I love it, Boledi. I always said your poetry was better than your prose.

hope that this dreams stretches its wings into reality…as so many wonderful dreams in this world already did..

Dreams make us who we are. Faced with an impending reality, one must dream and hope. We are beings in between dream and reality. Love binds the opposites together.
